PROMETA PR was founded in 1971. Located in Dunkirk (Hauts-de-France 59), it has become a leader in surface treatments and on-site coating applications.
It works with the region's major industrial players to ensure the long-term viability of their metal and concrete equipment through anti-corrosion, anti-abrasion, anti-erosion, intumescent, civil engineering and waterproofing solutions, etc.
In a business that is becoming increasingly technical (special coatings, new application techniques, etc.) and largely impacted by environmental protection measures, PROMETA PR offers its industrial customers and service providers for industry, interventions on new work and maintenance work on site using environmentally friendly techniques such as induction stripping, robotic stripping, the use of mobile shot blasting units and the application of solvent-free coatings.
In order to meet its customers' requirements, PROMETA PR renewed its MASE certification in 2008 and now has ACQPA-certified operatives. Quality and safety are now its top priorities.
Prometa PR also works on engineering structures (the 7 bridges site in Dunkirk) and naval structures (ships and port facilities).
