The schooner Jutland is home to a total of six young people, who all have individual rooms on the ship. We eat and cook together in the galley, and the students attend our own in-house school in the large deck saloon.

Over the years we have had good results with many socially disadvantaged young people and young people with ADHD. We have a wealth of experience working with these young people and we manage through responsibility, relationships and structure, predictability and education to help young people who lack skills and, more importantly, have the courage to learn and enter adulthood with a stronger sense of being able to meet the increasing demands of society.

The ship participates in a number of international races, giving the young people on board a life experience of teamwork and unity, as well as improving individual self-esteem.
