The Shabab Oman II (Youth of Oman II) is an impressive square-rigged three-master built at the Damen shipyards in Galați, Romania, then fitted out and fitted out in the Netherlands. She was commissioned in 2014 to replace her predecessor, the first Shabab Oman.
This modern sail training vessel is a floating showcase for the Sultanate of Oman, combining maritime tradition with modern technology. It is designed to train Omani naval cadets and represent Oman at major sailing events around the world. The Shabab Oman II regularly takes part in Tall Ships Races, impressing with the beauty of her rigging, her size and her highly disciplined crew.
