TS ROYALIST was built in 2014, replacing a vessel of the same name, and is the Sea Cadets organisation's boat. The brig's design is inspired by larger, faster yachts, offering greater use of space, with improved sail handling and performance. Faster and easier to handle than the previous flagship, it is more economical to run - ideal for allowing young people to learn to sail at sea, helping them to learn more skills. Maritime heritage and nautical training, including leadership and teamwork, are deeply rooted in the organisation's philosophy and culture. As the standard-bearer for Sea Cadets, TS ROYALIST will continue to play a key role in this area.
