Corsaro II is a yacht designed by Sparkman and Stephens that is used for sail training by third-year students at the Italian Naval Academy.

In January 1961, CORSARO II joined the Italian Navy as a sail training ship, for the training of officers.
Sailing particularly in the Atlantic and Pacific, the ship has taken part in numerous international cruises and regattas, often winning brilliant competitions.

Every year, she takes sixty third-year students to sea, taking part in prestigious European races and events during the summer. Racing on the Corsaro II gives cadets closer contact with the sea, navigation and weather before they embark on a grey warship.
