Gala des étoiles - Dunkerque
Émilien and Hubert, Dunkerque ambassadors for the Voiles de légende
Emilien and Hubert shared their experiences at sea at the gala des étoiles on Sunday at the Dunkerque kursaal as ambassadors for the 2024 race.
They took part in the race as apprentice sailors in July 2024 between Estonia and Finland and proudly represented the CUD.
They will be taking part in the Voiles de Légende race as mentors in Dunkirk and Aberdeen in July 2025.
The adventure is being funded by the Dunkirk Urban Community.
To give young people an insight into life on board a crew, the CUD is funding 200 young people aged between 15 and 25 for one of two different legs:
From Le Havre to Dunkirk
or from Dunkirk to Aberdeen (for adults)
Visits to the boats alongside the quay from 10 to 13 July in Dunkirk
